Trainings
Fire Trainings
Our Precinct 3 firefighters and cadets are dedicated to attending twice-a-month courses to maintain proficiency and further refine their skills to better fulfill our mission of saving lives and protecting property. Firefighting classes on vehicle extrication, apparatus pumping, live fire extinguisher training, electric vehicle firefighting, and hose handling are just some of the classes our volunteers may take annually.

EMS Trainings
Our certified emergency medical volunteers are committed to retaining their skills through continuing education courses conducted during our once-a-month Thursday EMS trainings. EMS classes on stop the bleed, CPR, diabetic emergencies, obstetric emergencies, and helicopter landing zones are just some of the classes our emergency medical professionals and cadets may take annually.

Business Meetings
Precinct 3 Fire Department puts together an annual budget which is awarded by the department’s emergency service district. Business meetings entail discussions on what specifically money gets spent on and updates on how the department is being run, including progress on goals. Examples of business meeting matters are ideas from marketing to increase recruitment, the purchasing and outfitting of new apparatus and equipment, recent call response statistics, upcoming physicals, and progress on equipment compliance testing or preventative maintenance.
